Dear Kindergarten Parents,

Happy New Year!

 As we begin this new year, I am so thankful for your partnership and the joy your children bring into our classroom each day. Also, thank you for all your thoughtful gifts and support during our Christmas season. There are many exciting things happening this month in K5.  I've changed the behavior calendar, to keep you informed of our weekly oral and written evaluation in bible, phonics and math/numbers. Reading homework begins on January 20th. There will be assigned reading pages from either their Blends or the little readers' book. I will also introduce our special sound this month. We look forward to continued growth in learning, faith, kindness, and confidence as we move forward together.

May this year be filled with God's blessings, great health, and many moments of joy for you and your family. I'm looking forward to seeing my students.
