2nd/3rd Grade

Welcome to our 2nd/3rd Grade page. We hope you had a great summer and a fantastic start to the school year. This year these grade levels will be combined. Many of the skills for third grade are built on the learning from second grade, so these two grade levels work together quite well.  I am very excited about the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. I am looking forward to partnering with you to bring about the absolute best from our students. As we dive deeper into our curriculum, look for information on how to support your child in reading with comprehension, language arts and writing, mathematics which includes multiplication, division and equations, history with map skills and science.  Please check your child's backpack for their homework planner daily (all homework is not written). Also, look for notes regarding other cool activities this quarter. At home, make sure that your child has a homework space with no distractions, a snack, a good night's sleep, a good breakfast, a nutritious lunch and a big hug.
