Praise The Lord Parents

It is a very exciting time of year as the holidays are quickly approaching.  Our Christmas program is early this year, December 6, 2024.  We are now in the process of rehearsals.  Before we go too far, let's review.  The 6th graders did an outstanding job building and creating their geographical maps and delivering their presentations.  We had a full house on presentation day, K4A, 1st grade and our special guest…….their supportive parents!!!!!! Their maps of France, Egypt, China, Canada and the Dominican Republic are currently on display,

4th graders should be working on their Science projects on birds.

Hopefully, you have had time to review your child's progress report and determine a plan for improvement if necessary.  It is your responsibility as parents to have a concentrated concern in their academic progress.  It is important to review the daily graded work that comes home, correct the mistakes, check the homework, study together, conduct parent-led quizzes and follow the test/quiz calendar.  Remember I am available to you.

Congratulations to our students who took the first Walnut Hill test!!!!  I am proud of you and your efforts.

Soon I will be introducing a financial literacy program for kids in the classroom. The program is distributed by the Economic department at U.C.

The Bible memory recitation date for this month is Tuesday, November 26, 2024.  The passages Mark 8:34-38.

If your child has a speaking role in the Christmas program, please designate quiet time for them to learn their lines.  More information about the program will be issued soon.

Over half of our class are enjoying the hot lunches served here at Zion.  Maybe give it a try!!!

Respectfully,

Sis. Coleman
