Spring is here!!!!!

April/May 2026

As the air is warmer and the sun is shining brightly, we are enjoying morning recess in the park and afternoon recess on our school grounds.  As we arrive at mid-April, the 2025/2026 academic school year is approaching the final countdown.

The fourth quarter is always a very busy and exciting time for us.  The 6th graders will be measured for their cap and gowns soon.  I expect 100% participation in the Science Fair on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 1:30 p.m.  All families are invited to support your chid and all the participants of ZTCA.  I hope to see you there!

The Bible Memory is John 15:1-7.  Every student in the class should earn an excellent grade, since we started learning this passage in mid-March.  The recitation date is April 30, 2026. The fully completed research paper for 5th and 6th graders is due in its entirety on April 30, 2026.  Most library books should renew automatically by the public library. However, you should check your account to be certain and avoid fines.  Due to illness of many of the students, we had to deviate from the original assignment schedule.  We are now back on track.  Ask your child to bring their Language book home to view a copy of the completed research paper.

We are looking forward to the Science Fair, Ice Cream Social, pictures for the yearbook, 6th grade graduation, Field Day, the ZTCA Gala, the end of the school year field trip, Awards Day and so much more!!!!
